Who we are

Hunters and hunting organisations recognised that they need to co-operate and set standards that benefit hunting and the hunter in South Africa. CHASA was established as the national co-ordinating organisation for that purpose.

CHASA is a voluntary, non-political and non-profit organisation. It functions as a co-ordinating body on a national basis, and its members are grouped into member associations. Every member association – and every individual member – accepts CHASA's constitution and disciplinary code on joining.
